That suspension is one week more than the NFL originally gave Ray Rice for knocking his fiancée unconscious.

Andrew Sullivan on the ESPN/Bill Simmons debacle.

I am not a sports person, but I love Grantland and The BS Report, in part because it is a perfect blend of sports and pop culture. In fact, Bill Simmons will always be beloved by me for his obsession with the original “Beverly Hills 90210.” As someone who makes “Peach Pit After Dark” jokes on a pretty regular basis, this is important to me. And if you haven’t heard his epic, two-part podcast on 90210 from a few years ago, I encourage you to download on iTunes or stream it this very second (part one is here, part two is here). Listen to it if only for his hilarious story (I can’t remember which part it’s in) of driving his wife to the hospital while she was in labor and getting sidetracked at a convenience store because he ran into the actress who played Lucinda Nicholson.

All I could assume was Donna gave good blow jobs. You’d always say, “Donna isn’t having sex but she’s definitely giving hand jobs, she’s giving some good blow jobs.” You know, Ray [Pruit, her abusive onetime boyfriend, played by Jamie Walters] isn’t staying for nothing; there’s something going on there, he’s getting off.

Jason Priestley Is Writing a Memoir

YES. Dusting off my Peach Pit After Dark jokes!

Sadly, I missed “Sharknado,” but judging by Twitter, Ian Ziering aka Steve Sanders from “Beverly Hills 90210” apparently experienced a career rebirth last night—quite literally, according to this pretty epic Vine of one of the movie’s pivotal scenes. But let us not forget what had previously been Ziering’s finest moment as an actor: This epic montage of Steve Sanders playing volleyball that was so amazing that someone on YouTube actually filmed it off their television.
